I am an honest, highly disciplined and dedicated mature professional, who is highly motivated and confident with a desire to achieve the very best. I thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to persuade, influence and listen to others and find it easy to build solid relations with both colleagues and customers. I am comfortable at adapting to new situations and environments and intend to achieve the best through my determination which is driven by strong work and moral ethics.
Having had a successful twenty-two-year career in the Fire Service, I have gained a wealth of operational and fire safety experience in the fire sector leading the business safety teams across two districts in North and Northeast Lincolnshire for the remaining years of my career, before retiring. I continued in the fire sector carrying out fire risk assessments, fire door surveys and compartmentation survey which has enhanced my knowledge further.
